JOB TITLE:Forklift Operator



LOCATION: El Paso Texas



LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT: Contract (Possible Temp to Perm)



PAY RATE: 9.50 per hour



SHIFT HOURS: Tuesday ? Friday 4pm ? 12:30am, Saturday 8am ? 4:30pm





Key Responsibilities

? Accurately match numbers and letters

? Accurately stage and sort products for loading

Loads and unloads trailers

? Opens and closes dock doors

? Move materials within the warehouse

? Complies with all safety requirements

? Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system

? Quality control

? Complete daily logs

? Ensure damaged products are identified and removed when received Electronically scan products using a warehouse

? Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets

? Assemble product containers and crates, using hand tools and precut lumber

? Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable)

? Operate forklifts or pallet jacks to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations

? Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

? Microsoft computer knowledge: Excel, outlook, Word.
